Summary: The folks at Troma now give you a slightly less than savory edition of what the Toxic Avenger could have turned out to be like. If Toxie knew about this thing, he'd have it dead in a heartbeat.

History: New York City was already trying the patience of newcomer Alex Carmichael, but not too much. Still, he was in for it when his creepy neighbors gave him a strange green liquid that they passed off as wine. It was really the creation of a mad alchemist named Zachary Devon. As pretty soon, Alex began to feel his skin melt away and become a slimy orange. And as he began to take on Zachary's identity, he found that only human blood would keep him satisfied.

Notable Kills: A man tries to stab him in the gut, which chomps his arm off.

Final Fate: Soon, Alex's girlfriend has to decapitate Alex. After the body wrecks a bit of havoc, she chops away at the madman's brain, ending him for good.

Powers/Abilities: Can bounce back from any injury, and can shapeshift to an extent so that his stomach is a toothy mouth.

Weakness: Destroy the brain and he's dust.

Scariness Factor: 4-You not only got a killer who's almost indestructible, but one that's absolutely disgusting. His innards fall out? He'll just put them back in. Head lopped off? His body will attack you. Also, he's an obnoxious freak as his killer persona.

Trivia: -There was a sequel to this film, "Slime City Massacre", in 2010, but Alex/Zachary is nowhere to be seen in it.

-In a rare inversion of most special edition scene editing, the collectors edition of this film removes some footage to enable better pacing.
